Cinematic Brno
Documentation of movie exhibition history and cinema-goers’ preferences in Brno, 1918-1945
The database offers researchers and those interested in the history of cinema a reconstruction of the programme of Brno cinemas in 1918-1945. They can also find information about the location of the cinemas, their capacity and the owners of the licences for their operation. The second part of the database offers transcripts of interviews with cinemagoers who frequently visited these cinemas before 1945.
